Ashley Du Preez is on verge of leaving Kaizer Chiefs for Stellenbosch FC.
The Amakhosi striker has not had the best of Betway Premiership seasons having played less than five matches for the club all season long.
This was also admitted by the player recently on social media that he had a less convincing campaign in the Chiefs shirt.
Now his former team, Stellenbosch FC, are said to be considering bringing him back to the Cape Winelands so he can revive his career.
He joined Chiefs from Stellies four seasons ago and he had an impressive start at Chiefs under Gavin Hunt, Arthur Zwane and Molefi Ntseki.
But now he is a shadow of his former self as Stellies seek to sign him again.
