ASEAN Championship 2024: Schedule and results of the tournament

The ASEAN Championship 2024 kicked off on December 8 and will run until January 5, 2025. This tournament is organized by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) for the men’s national teams of Southeast Asia and marks the 15th edition in its history.

The inaugural ASEAN tournament took place in 1996, featuring six founding members of the AFF and four invited nations from the region. Held every two years, the tournament adopted a new format in 2018. Currently, ten teams are divided into two groups of five, competing in a round-robin system. The top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs, which include two-legged semifinals and finals.

The reigning champion is Thailand, which is also the most successful team in the tournament's history with seven titles. Singapore has won four championships, Vietnam two, and Malaysia one.
