AS Roma considers inviting Monza's head coach Raffaele Palladino in the summer. This information comes from the well-known Italian journalist, Nicolo Schira.

Palladino's contract with Monza expires in June, and the 40-year-old coach isn't rushing to renew it as he awaits an invitation from a top club.

Palladino has been coaching Monza since September 2022. Under his guidance, the team retained its spot in Serie A. The 2022/23 season marked Monza's debut in the Italian top-flight division.

Jose Mourinho has been in charge of Roma since 2021. His contract with the Roman club ends at the close of the season and hasn't been extended yet, despite both sides publicly expressing their readiness to continue their collaboration.

Earlier reports indicated that there were disagreements between the club and the Portuguese coach regarding the terms of a new agreement.

Roma currently holds the seventh position in the Serie A standings after 18 rounds. Today, on January 3rd, the Wolves will play against Cremonese in the Italian Cup. Monza, under Palladino, occupies the 11th place in the Italian league.
