AS Roma considers Carlo Ancelotti as head coach for next season
AS Roma is reportedly eyeing Carlo Ancelotti, the current Real Madrid manager, as a top candidate for their head coach position next season. The Friedkin family is keen on bringing the experienced Italian tactician to revitalize the team.
Details. According to Sky Italia, Ancelotti is on Roma's shortlist as they prepare for the departure of Claudio Ranieri, who is set to step down at the end of the current season to take on a managerial role within the club.
However, Ancelotti is not the only option under consideration. Roma is also evaluating Massimiliano Allegri and Vincenzo Montella, both of whom have extensive experience in Italian football.
Context. Roma has struggled to find stability this season, having already worked with three different managers. The team currently sits in 12th place in Serie A after 15 matches, and the club's hierarchy is eager to implement a long-term solution for their managerial woes.
