AS Otoho coach Sekou Seck cannot accept easily that they lost to Stellenbosch FC in their Caf Confederation Cup match
It should not be surprising if AS Otoho coach could be diagnosed with depression following their last minute defeat to Stellenbosch FC in the Caf Confederation Cup.
Sekou Seck, through a translator, could only say how sad he was at the 1-0 result of their game against Stellies at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Ashley Cupido came off the bench to connect with a Thato Khiba pass to score the winner for the Cape side which sent shock to Seck and his troops as it seemed they were aiming for a draw.
If a draw was their ultimate aim, then it makes sense why they are disappointed because it seemed they had done all to earn a point as Steve Barker’s men scored in the last minute of the game.
The Congo-Brazzaville side were not as dangerous which is something that could have been their modus operandi to earn a point. But as they say this beautiful game remains unpredictable.
“Very, very sad for this match,” said Seck after the game.
“Because Stellenbosch, they scored us at the end of the game. We are very sad; it’s our first time to lose in this competition and we can forget about this and project our next game.”
