Arturo Vidal publishes emotional post about his time with the Chilean national team

Chilean national team star Arturo Vidal opened up about his feelings playing for the national team after their defeat to Argentina. The footballer shared an emotional post on his Instagram page.
“There is no greater pride than wearing this jersey. I have given everything in every match since the moment I first put it on at 18 and promised that we would win. I may not be as young as I once was, but the love remains the same. No excuses, no negative answers. I have always been and will always be available for La Roja and my country. I will fight for every ball as if it’s my last, just as I have done throughout my career,” Vidal wrote.
It should be noted that Chile lost yet another World Cup 2026 qualifier to Argentina, a result that has all but dashed their hopes of reaching the tournament. The Chilean side remains at the bottom of the qualifying table, with only 10 points from 15 rounds.
Let’s recall that Arturo Vidal, along with the Chilean national team, previously won the Copa América twice—in 2015 and 2016.
