Arthur Zwane praises his striker Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya as AmaZulu beat TS Galaxy 3-2 with Ngwenya being a scorer and a creator in that PSL match
Arthur Zwane has paid tribute to Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya following the striker’s heroics against TS Galaxy.
“The introduction of Ngwenya and Mhlongo gave us strength, explosiveness, and speed. I’m happy for Ngwenya and what he has done, and we’re going to be a difficult team to play against,” Zwane said after the game against TS Galaxy.
Twice in their 3-2 victory against TS Galaxy Usuthu had to come from behind and Ngwenya netted a brace.
He also created Mondli Mbanjwa’s goal and he was duly rewarded with the man of the match award and he now has six goals on the PSL top goalscorer’s charts.
“And I think when Ngwenya came on, he did exactly that. And he also helped all of us. Athini [Maqokola] came alive and created as well. He was also heavily involved in those goals that we scored, which is good,” Zwane added.
Zwane spoke about how they should turn Moses Mabhida into a fortress of sort as Usuthu after beating Galaxy there.
“At home, no one should come out. And I think it paid off in the end. We managed to get the winner. And I must commend the players who came off the bench. Their impact was magical. So I think all the players deserve credit for the effort. Because what matters is getting the maximum points,” added the former Kaizer Chiefs coach.
