Arthur Zwane decries absence of injured AmaZulu midfielder Hendrick Ekstein as they lost to Sekhukhune United

Arthur Zwane has decried the absence of AmaZulu midfielder Hendrick Ekstein as they lost 4-3 to Sekhukhune United inthe MTN8 quarter-final match.

Zwane, the Uusuthu coach, said the midfielder is out on injury and he also missed a large part of the club's pre-season preparations.

"Pule is not going to be available anytime soon. He missed about two to three weeks of pre-season,” said Zwane.

“So maybe he needs another three weeks in terms of making sure that he’s ready. And obviously we’ll have to follow the protocol. We have to [follow] protocol in terms of the level of fitness.

"The other players are ahead of him. We know that if he was available, he was going to give us something.”
Zwane's AmaZulu face defending Betway Premiership champions Orlando Pirates this Wednesday night in a PSL game.
