Arteta hints at a new striker signing this winter

With ongoing personnel issues, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is frequently asked about signing a new striker during his press conferences. Today, the Spanish coach hinted that the club is actively pursuing this option.

Details: Arteta stated that due to injuries to Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka, his team is clearly lacking attacking sharpness.

Quote:

“My opinion is clear: we’ve lost two very important players – Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus. As a result, we’re missing goals, options, and depth in the front line. It’s obvious.

If we can bring in the right player, that’s something we are actively considering. Any player? No. It has to be someone who will improve us and make an impact on the team. We must do what’s best for the club”.

Reminder: Earlier reports suggested that Arsenal’s main transfer target for the striker position is Benjamin Šeško from RB Leipzig.
