Arteta gives ambiguous comment on Arsenal's winter signings

Arsenal enters the winter transfer window sitting second in the Premier League, aiming to catch up with league leaders Liverpool. The team is also facing some personnel challenges.

Despite this, head coach Mikel Arteta has indicated that the club will take a very measured approach to potential acquisitions in January.

Quote. "Signings in January? If there’s something extraordinary on the market that we can afford and that will have a real impact on the team, we must always remain open to the possibility.

At the moment, we are focused on what we already have," Fabrizio Romano quotes Arteta as saying.

Recall. Arsenal is navigating a challenging period without their star player Bukayo Saka, who sustained an injury in the match against Ipswich late last year. The player's preliminary recovery timeline is set at two months.

Yesterday, it was also revealed that Arsenal will be without defender Ben White for several weeks.
