The Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta disclosed whether he has any agreements with the club regarding a new contract.

According to the Spanish tactician, he is thoroughly content at the London-based club, yet discussions regarding extending his collaboration with the leadership have not yet taken place.

"A new contract? No, nothing of the sort. I am genuinely content at Arsenal. I still have a year remaining on my contract, which is a considerable duration in football. The players are satisfied, the club is content, and there are no issues. I am simply focused on the upcoming matches and securing victories on the football pitch, and that is presently my utmost priority," Arteta was quoted as saying by Arsenal Buzz.

Arteta has been at the helm of Arsenal since 2019. Last season, the Gunners contended for the title but fell short to Manchester City.

After 29 rounds of the ongoing championship, the red and whites occupy the second position in the league, trailing Liverpool by two points. Today, at 20:30, the Gunners host Luton.
