On December 22, Mikel Arteta will mark five years as Arsenal’s head coach. During his tenure, he has yet to win the Premier League but has elevated the Gunners to a new level. However, the Spanish coach prefers not to look too far ahead.

Details: Arteta stated that he cannot imagine himself managing Arsenal in another five years, as coaching requires living in the present and focusing energy on the moment.

Quote: "No. I mean, in this job, you need to live in the present, and of course, you need to plan for the medium- and long-term—that's a given, and we have many conversations about that.

But I think the energy has to be at the moment, focusing on every detail and understanding how everything works, implementing more processes to make better decisions, and always striving to get everyone in shape, to get the best out of them, and to make them feel part of what they’re doing," Arteta told Sky Sports.
