Arsenal's top talent has signed a first professional contract with the club

Arsenal has officially announced that their brightest talent from the local academy, Ethan Nwaneri, has signed his first professional contract with the club.

The duration of the contract for the 17-year-old attacking midfielder, who can also play as a forward, has not been disclosed.

Nwaneri is the youngest player in the history of the English Premier League. Last season, he made his debut in a match against Brentford (3-0) at the age of 15 years, 5 months, and 28 days. The previous record was held by Harvey Elliott at 16 years and 1 month.

In the current season, Nwaneri played for 13 minutes in the Premier League match against West Ham (6-0).

Additionally, the young midfielder has scored 7 goals and provided 2 assists in 9 matches in the Premier League 2.
