Arsenal's sporting director has given an intriguing statement on the team's transfers

While other Premier League clubs have a loud transfer window, Arsenal are a safe haven in this sea of purchases. But that is for now.

The purchase of David Raya's contract from Brentford and the purchase of Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna won't be the Canaries' only transfers of the summer. At least, that's what James Green of Sky Sports reports.

He relays a conversation between Arsenal fans and the club's sporting director Edu Gaspar:

"I spoke to a couple of Arsenal fans who were on the US tour who had a chance to speak to Edu. He said in relation to the transfers coming in, 'Be patient and you won't be disappointed at the end!".

As a reminder, the most high-profile transfer rumour Arsenal have been linked with is Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino. However, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior have been linked with a move away from the Emirates.
