England will face Albania in the first match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, and a record has already been set by one of the players.
Details: Myles Lewis-Skelly will be in the starting lineup for the match against Albania. According to Opta, he has become the second youngest Arsenal player to ever play for the England national team.
Only Theo Walcott was younger, debuting at 17 years and 75 days.
The match against Albania will kick off at 20:45 Central European Time and will take place at Wembley Stadium.
Incidentally, this month the England squad begins its World Cup 2026 qualifying campaign, and new head coach Thomas Tuchel has made his first selection as head coach.
