Arsenal's most expensive contract ever! Bukayo Saka extends deal with the Gunners until 2031
Bukayo Saka is set to stay in England for another five years.
Details: According to journalist Sami Mokbel, Arsenal’s English winger Bukayo Saka has signed a new five-year contract that ties the 24-year-old to the London club until 2031.
The reporter notes that Saka has become the highest-paid player in the Gunners’ history, with his weekly wage now surpassing £300,000. This move highlights the club’s determination to keep their top homegrown talents in the squad to compete for the biggest trophies.
Contract extension talks lasted nearly a year, even though the player had given his verbal agreement back in January. Saka’s previous deal was set to expire in 2027, but the club’s management chose to act proactively.
This season, the winger has made 33 appearances for the London side across all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 7 assists.
Reminder: Arsenal are ready to sign Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams.
