Arsenal's head coach shared what is needed to win the title

Last season, Arsenal came remarkably close to claiming the Premier League title, finishing second and trailing the leader by just two points.

In the first match of the new season, Arsenal will face Wolverhampton. The Gunners' head coach, Mikel Arteta, shared his expectations for this campaign.

"We need to break a few more records, probably earn more points. 89 points won’t be enough. At the level we're competing, it gets harder each season, so we’ll have to keep improving," the Spaniard stated.

Arteta doesn't claim to know what perfection is, but he believes they must come very close to the standards set in recent years.

"We gathered with all the players, and they told me, ‘We will be better, we will achieve it, we want more.’ They are driving these ambitions themselves, which is always encouraging," the Arsenal manager added.

The first-round match against Wolverhampton will take place on Saturday, August 17. The Dailysports team has prepared information on where and when to watch this game.
