Arsenal will face Chelsea in the second leg of the English League Cup semi-final on Tuesday, February 3, but the Gunners will be without one of their key players.
Details: According to insider Simon Collings, winger Bukayo Saka will not feature against Chelsea in this match. The reason is an injury he sustained in the Premier League clash against Leeds. However, the injury does not appear to be serious, and Saka could return in time for the match against Tottenham.
Arsenal defeated Chelsea 3:2 in the first leg of the semi-final. That match was played away from home for the Gunners, while the second leg will be at the Emirates and will kick off at 21:00 CET.
We also previously reported that the 29-year-old central midfielder of the Spain national team and Arsenal, Mikel Merino, risks missing the 2026 FIFA World Cup due to a leg injury sustained in a match against Manchester United.
Reminder: Chelsea have officially announced the return of Mamadou Sarr from French side Strasbourg.
