Arsenal star Kai Havertz announces he’s expecting a child in touching post

German footballer Kai Havertz of Arsenal and his wife Sofia Weber are set to become parents, with the player announcing the happy news on his Instagram page.

Kai and Sofia, who is a model and influencer, have been together since 2018. They grew up in the same neighborhood and have known each other since childhood. The couple got married in July this year, and now they are preparing for the next chapter in their relationship – the arrival of their baby.

The joyful news has been met with congratulations from many of Havertz's current and former teammates, as well as their partners, who left heartfelt messages in the comments.

Kai Havertz joined Arsenal from Chelsea in 2023. So far this season, the German midfielder has played 18 matches for his club, scoring 8 goals and providing 1 assist. Arsenal currently sit 4th in the Premier League, 9 points behind leaders Liverpool.

In the UEFA Champions League standings, Arsenal are in 7th place with 10 points, which currently qualifies them directly for the round of 16. However, with three matches remaining in the group stage, there is still room for change.
