Istanbul's Beşiktaş is actively working on finalizing a deal to sign Belgian winger Leandro Trossard from London’s Arsenal.
Details: The Belgian international is being considered by the Turkish club as one of two primary options to strengthen the left flank of their attack.
The second candidate on the “Black Eagles’” shortlist is Armand Laurienté. Although Beşiktaş has already agreed on personal terms with Laurienté, the club has yet to reach a transfer agreement with his current team—Italy’s Sassuolo.
As a result, Beşiktaş is simultaneously advancing negotiations for Trossard, aiming to secure the left midfielder position as soon as possible ahead of the new season.
It’s worth noting that the Arsenal winger is currently playing at the World Cup, where he has featured in all four of Belgium’s matches, scoring twice and providing one assist.
Reminder: Arsenal and Manchester City are battling for one of England’s brightest young talents.
