Arsenal set sights on Monaco midfielder

The Monegasque winger could soon be making a move to London.
Details: According to L’Équipe, 23-year-old Monaco midfielder Maghnes Akliouche has caught the keen interest of Arsenal and may soon test his skills in the Premier League.
The player's representative, Hasan Cetinkaya, has already held preliminary talks with Arsenal regarding the transfer, so a deal could be finalized in the near future.
At this stage, the biggest hurdle to the transfer is Monaco's asking price—they want €70 million for the player, which Arsenal considers excessive.
Last season, Akliouche made 43 appearances for Monaco, scoring 7 goals and providing 12 assists. His current contract with the club runs until 2028, and his market value, according to Transfermarkt, is estimated at €45 million.
Reminder: Arsenal moved closer to a coveted transfer. Tottenham played a part in making it happen.
