Arsenal offered Saliba a contract extension. The player's response amid Real Madrid interest revealed

It’s been at least a year since Real Madrid set their sights on Arsenal defender William Saliba. The Gunners are fully aware of the Spanish giants’ interest and have made the Frenchman’s future a top priority.

Details: According to Le10Sport, Arsenal have offered Saliba a contract extension—his current deal runs until June 2027—on very favorable terms, recognizing him as a key figure in the squad.

Saliba, meanwhile, is in no rush to respond. He’s using his recovery time from a muscle injury to carefully consider his future. He knows about Real Madrid’s interest, and the offer on the table is certainly tempting. However, Arsenal are not willing to wait forever; the Emirates hierarchy want a decision as soon as possible.

Reminder: Previously, Arsenal officially announced the long-awaited signing of Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.
