Arsenal legend believes Cole Palmer will soon be competing for the Ballon d'Or

Emmanuel Petit named Cole Palmer the best player in the Premier League and expressed confidence that he has every chance of becoming the future Ballon d'Or winner.
Details. "He can change the game at any moment. Every time he gets the ball, you feel like he can immediately impact the result. I’ve met different players, top players with the same abilities and character on the field."
When asked if Palmer could win the award that this year went to Rodri from Manchester City, Petit was a bit more cautious.
"Lamine Yamal from Barcelona, Vinicius, or maybe Kylian Mbappé if he returns. He [Palmer] has to show his abilities every week. That’s exactly what he’s doing right now. He’s been playing like this for 16 months. If he wants to achieve his dream, he has to do it at the highest level. That means the Champions League and also with the national team."
Reminder. Palmer’s outstanding form helped Chelsea pull off an incredible comeback against Tottenham last week. The English player scored two penalties in the second half, with the second one executed in a Panenka style, bringing his season tally to 11 goals.
