Arsenal is seriously intent on strengthening their attacking line and is considering a move for Rodrigo, but the club has an alternative in mind should the deal collapse.
Details: According to Football London, Mikel Arteta's side is eyeing the signing of Crystal Palace winger and star Eberechi Eze. The Eagles' player's contract includes a release clause of £68 million, but Arsenal is confident they can negotiate the fee down to £60–65 million.
Eze himself is open to joining a more ambitious club competing in the UEFA Champions League.
Additionally, Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli has attracted the attention of Bayern Munich, but the Gunners have already made a decision regarding the Brazilian's future—they have no plans to sell him in north London.
Reminder: 20-year-old Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera could join the ranks of Premier League newcomers.
