Arsenal has accepted the Italian club's offer to rent the defender
London Arsenal has accepted an offer from Lazio for the signing of left-back Nuno Tavares.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, it will be a loan deal with an obligation to buy for around €7-8 million. Negotiations with Tavares' agents regarding personal contract terms are currently ongoing.
Last season, the 24-year-old Portuguese spent on loan at Nottingham Forest, where he played 12 matches without scoring or assisting.
Additionally, it was reported that Arsenal, amid uncertainty surrounding Aaron Ramsdale, is looking to sign Wolverhampton goalkeeper Dan Bentley as a replacement. However, the amount the "Gunners" are willing to pay for the goalkeeper might be surprising.
Moreover, Arsenal plans to sell one of their two left-backs this summer.
It is worth recalling that Arsenal finished second in the Premier League, contending for the title with Manchester City until the last round, in the previous cycle.
