Arsenal fans brought their former goalkeeper to tears

Aaron Ramsdale was moved to tears by the warm reception from Arsenal fans during his first return to the Emirates since leaving the club.

In the summer, the goalkeeper transferred to Southampton on a permanent deal worth £25 million, ending his three-year stay in North London. Ramsdale made a total of 89 appearances for the Gunners but left in search of more playing time after falling behind David Raya in Mikel Arteta's goalkeeping hierarchy.

Despite this, he remains a fan favorite at his former club, and Ramsdale couldn't hold back his emotions during the pre-match warm-up.

After receiving prolonged applause and chants, the touched goalkeeper was captured wiping away tears with his gloves.
