In yesterday's match of the fourteenth round of the Premier League, Arsenal visited Wolverhampton Wanderers. The match ended in favor of the Gunners, who, thanks to this victory, solidified their position at the top of the English league standings.

Bukayo Saka opened the scoring for Arsenal just six minutes into the match. This goal not only stands as the fastest for Arsenal in the current season but also holds significance as the 100th goal scored by the Gunners in this calendar year.

With this achievement, Arsenal becomes the fifth club among Europe's top five leagues to reach the milestone of 100 goals in this calendar year. Previously, Manchester City (137), Real Madrid (119), Bayern Munich (111), and Bayer Leverkusen (110) had achieved this feat.

Following the match, Arsenal's head coach, Mikel Arteta, praised the team's performance, emphasizing their attacking prowess and ability to pose threats to the opponent's goal.

"I am very pleased. I think the team was excellent again today. The way we played, the way we competed. We looked like a real threat. Going forward, we created so many moments, scored two beautiful goals, and could have had three or four. But that didn't happen. We gifted the opponent a moment near the penalty area, and they capitalized on it. But this is the Premier League, and the game goes on."
