Arsenal are not relying on Gyokeres alone. The club has an alternative

While Sporting CP forward Viktor Gyokeres remains a coveted target for numerous top clubs, including Arsenal, the Gunners recognize the potential challenges in securing his signature and are exploring alternative options.

Details: CaughtOffside reports that Arsenal is considering Atalanta forward Matteo Retegui as a potential reinforcement for their forward line. The 25-year-old Italian has been on fire this season, scoring 11 goals in just 12 Serie A appearances. However, Atalanta is reluctant to part ways with their star striker.

However, Arsenal's willingness to offer a substantial fee of €50 million could tempt Atalanta to consider selling Retegui.

Background: Previous reports have linked Arsenal to Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson, indicating the club's desire to strengthen its squad in multiple positions.
