Even though the transfer window is currently closed, clubs are actively scouting for potential reinforcements for the winter window. Both Arsenal and Brighton have already identified a candidate to strengthen their goalkeeper ranks.

Details: According to The Telegraph, both clubs are interested in Aston Villa’s Oliwier Zych as a backup goalkeeper. The 20-year-old Polish keeper has less than a year remaining on his current contract with Villa, meaning the interested clubs could sign him without a transfer fee, only having to pay a compensation fee for his training development.

Reminder: Last season, Zych spent time on loan at Polish side Puszcza, where he made headlines for a rather unusual incident in the Ekstraklasa, conceding a goal from Radomiak goalkeeper Gabriel Kobylak.
