Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte set off to conquer Saudi football two years ago with Al Nassr, but Europe's elite clubs haven’t forgotten the Spaniard and are eager to lure him back.

Details: According to Diario AS, Arsenal and Aston Villa have reached out to Al Nassr regarding a transfer for the 31-year-old centre-back. Athletic Bilbao, Laporte’s former club, also made an attempt to bring their academy product home, but the financial demands are simply out of their reach.

The exact figures remain undisclosed, but Al Nassr is not prepared to let their central defender go without a fight. Alongside the English heavyweights, Inter Milan have also expressed interest in Laporte.

Reminder: Al Nassr could also lose their winter signing Jhon Durán this summer, with West Ham still keen on the player.
