Arne Slot reveals where he will continue his career
Slot is not yet ready to swap the daily grind of club football for the life of a national team coach.
Details: Arne Slot spoke about his career priorities, admitting that at this stage, he wants to remain at the club level.
The coach also explained why he’s currently not considering the possibility of leading the national team.
“At this point in my career, I see myself on the training pitch with my players every day. That’s simply not possible to the same extent with a national team,” Slot told Voetbal International.
At the same time, Slot does not rule out the possibility of taking on an international role in the future.
“It would be a great honor for me to represent my country as head coach of the national team one day. But now was not the right moment,” the coach added.
Thus, Slot’s next step will be to continue working with a club, where he can stay close to his squad and be directly involved in the training process every day.
