Aston Villa are already eyeing up options to replace their Argentine goalkeeper.
Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Nicolò Schira, scouts from English side Aston Villa were spotted in the stands during yesterday’s World Cup clash between the Netherlands and Japan, as shared on his page on social network X.

Reports indicate that Aston Villa representatives were there to watch 23-year-old Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki in action. Suzuki is considered one of the leading candidates to replace Aston Villa’s departing first-choice keeper Emiliano Martínez.
Suzuki is currently on the books at Italian side Parma, with a contract running until 2029. According to Transfermarkt, Zion Suzuki’s market value is estimated at €20 million.
