Juventus isn’t planning to leave their goalkeeping department without reinforcements.
Details: According to renowned and reliable journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on his social media page X, Turin’s Juventus has identified a new leading candidate for the goalkeeper position after the transfer of Alisson Becker fell through.
Reports indicate that the “Old Lady” has now set its sights on 33-year-old Aston Villa and Argentina national team goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez.
At the moment, Juventus and Aston Villa are in negotiations, discussing the transfer fee and contract terms.
If a deal with Martínez cannot be reached, Juventus has Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario on their radar.
This season, Emiliano Martínez has played 44 matches for Aston Villa, conceding 49 goals and providing 14 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his transfer value is estimated at 12 million euros.
