Former welterweight world champion Yordenis Ugas (27-6, 12 KOs) commented on the victory of WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) over fighter Franck Martin (18-1, 12 KOs).
"It was an excellent fight. Tank is impressive. Gervonta is like a mini version of Tyson," Ugas was quoted as saying by FightHype.
Recall that last night at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, USA, there was a boxing event featuring several title fights.
In the main event of the evening, the current WBA lightweight world champion Gervonta Davis of the United States faced off against contender and fellow countryman Franck Martin.
The contender started the fight well but lost momentum before the midway point of the bout. In the eighth round, he lingered on the ropes, allowing the champion to knock him out.
