Last night, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, USA, a boxing event took place featuring several title fights that thrilled fans.

In the main event, the reigning WBA lightweight world champion, American Gervonta Davis, faced his compatriot and challenger Frank Martin. The challenger started the fight well but lost momentum before the halfway point. In the eighth round, he lingered on the ropes, allowing the champion to knock him out.

In the co-main event, contenders for the vacant interim WBC light heavyweight title, American David Benavidez and Ukrainian Oleksandr Gvozdyk, clashed. The fight lasted all twelve rounds, and the judges awarded the victory to the American.

In the bout for the vacant interim WBC super lightweight title, Dominican Alberto Puello won by unanimous decision. Another Dominican, Carlos Adames, defended his WBC middleweight title against American Terrell Gausha with a unanimous decision victory.
