Are Man United scouts tracking Osimhen? Romano sets the record straight

Manchester United has recently been heavily linked with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, with reports suggesting that the club has even sent scouts to monitor him. However, renowned insider Fabrizio Romano has a different take on the situation.

Details: Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Romano clarified that Manchester United has not dispatched scouts to watch Osimhen, as a player of his caliber does not require scouting.

At the same time, United must be cautious with any potential transfer from a financial standpoint, as their budget is constrained by Financial Fair Play regulations. As of now, there is nothing concrete or advanced—United is simply keeping itself informed on the situation through regular updates.

Reminder: Previous reports indicated that a key obstacle in the transfer could be Osimhen’s high wages, with his salary exceeding £200,000 per week.
