The relationship between Antonio Conte and Romelu Lukaku has taken a serious hit. It all started when Lukaku refused to return to the club for treatment.
Details: In an interview with DAZN, Conte expressed deep dissatisfaction with the behavior of his former player, emphasizing that Lukaku didn't even try to reach out to him.
Conte did not hide his emotions:
“I'm disappointed in Romelu. He didn't even come over to say hello, we didn't speak at all,” he said.
According to the coach, the situation was especially strange as the player was just steps away from his office, yet chose to ignore the meeting.
“I didn't expect things to turn out this way,” the manager added.
Reminder: Napoli are in talks with Enzo Maresca.
