A new opportunity. Italian giants hold talks with Enzo Maresca

Napoli is bracing for the possible departure of Conte.

Details: According to Tuttomercatoweb, Napoli's management recently held initial talks with 46-year-old Enzo Maresca, the former Chelsea boss.

Reports indicate that Napoli fully understands the significant risk of losing Antonio Conte, so the search for his replacement is already underway.

The meeting between Maresca and Napoli representatives took place in London, where Enzo remains at present.

Conte's contract with Napoli runs until 2027, but if he doesn't sign a new deal by season's end, he could leave the club early, paving the way for Maresca to take over.

Enzo Maresca is currently a free agent after being dismissed by Chelsea in January of this year.

At the moment, Napoli sits third in Serie A with 66 points after 33 matches.
