Antonio Conte has spoken out on Osimhen's future at Napoli

Newly appointed Napoli head coach Antonio Conte has commented on the future of Victor Osimhen at the club.

"I spoke with Victor, and there are no changes in his situation. He is a top player. Today he is a Napoli player, so he needs to work hard.

Even if we have an agreement [regarding his potential departure], we still don't know the outcome of this story," Conte is quoted as saying by Fabrizio Romano.

Earlier reports indicated that PSG made an offer for both Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen, but Napoli is only willing to let one of them go.

Napoli's first summer signing is Torino and Italy defender Alessandro Buongiorno. According to Italian media, the transfer fee is €35 million plus €5 million in bonuses. Buongiorno's contract with Napoli runs until 2029, with a salary of €2.5 million per season.
