Antonio Conte could return to Serie A. A top club is interested in securing his services

AC Milan continues to search for a potential replacement for head coach Stefano Pioli. It's unlikely that the club will dismiss Pioli before the season's end, but a parting in the summer seems plausible.
As a potential replacement for Pioli, the Rossoneri are considering Italian tactician Antonio Conte, who is currently without a coaching position, as Gazzetta reported. However, a potential stumbling block in this union might be Milan's inability to offer financial terms similar to Conte's previous positions.
A second, more budget-friendly option for the Rossoneri is Milan's youth team coach, Ignazio Abate.
Conte has been without a job since March 2023, when he departed from Tottenham. The 54-year-old Italian is renowned for his stints with Juventus, Inter Milan, Chelsea, and the Italian national team. His coaching achievements include league titles in England and Italy.
Milan currently holds the third spot in the Serie A standings after 17 matches, amassing 33 points. On December 30, Pioli's team will close the year with a home fixture against Sassuolo.
