Antonio Conte comments on his appointment in Napoli

Napoli has officially announced that the legendary Italian specialist Antonio Conte has become the head coach of the Neapolitan team.

The Italian specialist has already commented on his return to coaching and his contract with Napoli. Conte is happy and excited about the opportunity to lead the Neapolitan club.

"Napoli is a place of global significance. I am happy and excited about the opportunity to take a seat on the blue bench. I can unequivocally promise one thing: I will put in all my efforts for the growth of the team and the club. My staff and I will give our all," said Antonio.

The 54-year-old coach has signed a contract with Napoli that runs until the summer of 2027. According to media reports, Conte will earn 6 million euros per season, making him the highest-paid coach in Serie A.

Napoli is the fourth Serie A club in Conte's coaching career. Previously, he managed Inter, Juventus, and Atalanta. Outside of Italy, Conte coached Chelsea and Tottenham, with the latter being his most recent position.

Last season, Napoli finished only in 10th place in Serie A, whereas a year ago, they were the champions of Italy.
