Antonela Roccuzzo responds to rumors about her possible pregnancy

Antonela Roccuzzo, wife of football legend Lionel Messi, has addressed the wave of speculation suggesting she is expecting their fourth child. Argentine journalist Ángel de Brito shared her response on his X account.

De Brito dismissed the rumors, revealing that Antonela had personally denied all speculation about her pregnancy.

“I spoke to Antonela and she told me that the rumour of her pregnancy is fake. She said that the media has been trying to get her pregnant for the past three years!” the journalist wrote.

The speculation about Roccuzzo’s pregnancy gained traction after journalist Naiara Vecchio mentioned that she had spoken with someone close to Messi’s inner circle and learned that the couple was considering having a daughter.

It’s worth noting that Messi himself has previously expressed a similar desire. In an interview with Migue Granados on the streaming show OLGA in 2023, the Argentine star admitted that he and his wife would like to have another child, possibly a girl.

For now, however, the situation is crystal clear—Roccuzzo is not pregnant, as she has made evident. But given the couple’s past statements, the possibility remains open for the future.
