Sportico has released its ranking of the highest-paid athletes of 2024, and we’ve highlighted the top earners from Latin America.
Details: Lionel Messi was the highest-paid Latin American athlete in 2024, earning $135 million. The Inter Miami forward topped the list ahead of his former Barcelona teammate Neymar, who brought in $133 million. Rounding out the top three is Mexican boxer Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez, with $73 million in earnings.
