Antoine Mendy scores his first Ligue 1 goal

The Senegalese defender made his mark on Saturday during Nice’s defeat against Strasbourg.
It was a mixed bag for Antoine Mendy on 4 April during matchday 28 in the French league. The Senegalese player and his team lost 3-1 away to Strasbourg. However, the 21-year-old defender still left his mark on the game.
With the visitors largely dominated by the home side, Antoine Mendy reduced the deficit in the 82nd minute with a fine strike from outside the penalty area. The Senegal international thus scored his first goal in the French Ligue 1 since making his debut in the 2022–23 season.
