Anthony Joshua plans to own a legendary football club

The legendary boxer Anthony Joshua plans to transcend the boundaries of his sport and venture into the football business.
According to The Athletic, the former heavyweight world champion aims to become the new owner of Watford, currently competing in the Championship.
Joshua is a native of Watford. He grew up near the club’s stadium and has been a devoted fan since childhood. Joshua's dream is to return Watford to the Premier League and achieve success there.
The current owners of Watford are the Pozzo family, who also own the Serie A club Udinese.
It is reported that the Pozzo family is willing to sell the club and has valued it between 182-225 million dollars. Joshua is expected to be ready to pay this amount.
Last season, Watford finished 15th in the Championship, having spent two consecutive seasons in the league.
