Undefeated Japanese boxer Junto Nakatani Knocks out Thailand’s veteran Tasana Salapat.
Japanese boxing sensation Junto Nakatani took on experienced Thai fighter Tasana Salapat, who boasted an impressive record of 76 wins.
The two fighters headlined the boxing event at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena, squaring off in the night’s main bout.
Nakatani delivered a knockout in the sixth round, sending Salapat to the canvas twice during the three-minute round. After the first knockdown, Salapat managed to continue the fight, but following the second, he was unable to get back on his feet, prompting the referee to stop the bout.
This victory marked Nakatani’s 29th win in the professional ring, with 22 of those coming by knockout. For Salapat, it was only the second defeat of his career.
