Details: After today’s fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol, Alalshikh gave an interview to The Stomping Ground, where he stated that the provisional date for the rematch is February 22. According to him, both teams have reached this agreement. While the exact details are yet to be finalized, February 22 appears likely, given Alalshikh’s pivotal role in organizing such events.
At present, the location of the fight has not been confirmed, but there is a high chance that it will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Alalshikh, along with the Saudi government, is working to establish the country as a key hub for hosting major boxing events.
Reminder: The first fight between Dubois and Joshua took place on September 21. AJ entered the bout as the favorite but was punished by his opponent. He was knocked down several times before being finished by knockout in the fifth round. Daniel Dubois holds the IBF heavyweight title, which was stripped from Oleksandr Usyk due to his inability to defend it.
