Another Kaizer Chiefs discard Gaston Sirino now linked with a move to Durban City
Gaston Sirino has been lined up by Durban City as a potential signing after leaving Kaizer Chiefs.
Sirino is officially club-less after Amakhosi decided against renewing his contract after expiration having joined them three years ago.
It does look like the former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker has reached his sell by date in the local game as he has not peaked at Chiefs like he did while at Sundowns.
The move by Durban City to add him to their roster is influenced by the demanding schedule next season.
City are in the Caf Confederation Cup and having to juggle between the international and domestic schedule will need them to have a huge squad.
And Sirino, a Caf Champions League winner with Sundowns, will be an invaluable addition to the team.
The player's arrival and announcement at City is imminent.
