Another free agent. French defender Oumar Solet terminated his contract with RB Salzburg
The contract of French defender Oumar Solet with RB Salzburg was originally set to run until the end of the current season, but both parties have mutually agreed to terminate it early.
Details: Oumar Solet and RB Salzburg have reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract ahead of schedule, as the club announced on its social media platforms. The reason for this decision remains undisclosed at the moment.
It is possible that the initiative came from the player himself, who last appeared on the pitch in May, playing as a substitute for just three minutes. Prior to that, the Frenchman was regularly featured in the starting lineup. Last season, he made 27 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist.

Reminder: Oumar Solet joined RB Salzburg in 2020, with Lille receiving €4.5 million for the transfer. According to data from Transfermarkt, the player's current market value stands at €10 million, having nearly halved from €17 million over the past year.
It is worth noting that during the summer transfer window, Salzburg signed PSG's Johan Gadu, who may now be seen as Solet's replacement.
