Manchester United have found yet another way to make unwanted Champions League history.

Details: According to Opta, Manchester United have become the first English team in history to concede a goal within the opening two minutes of two consecutive major European matches. The unwanted record was confirmed on October 21, when Como midfielder Nico Paz opened the scoring in the second minute of their Champions League encounter in Italy.

Just eight days earlier, on October 13, Atlético Madrid midfielder Pablo Barrios had stunned Manchester United by scoring inside the very first minute. Michael Carrick's side eventually lost that Champions League encounter 0-2.

The nightmare repeated itself against Como. On the rain-soaked pitch of the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, Nico Paz curled a brilliant left-footed strike into the far corner from the edge of the penalty area, putting Cesc Fàbregas's team ahead almost immediately.

It's worth noting that Como are making their Champions League debut this season. The Italian side began their European campaign with an impressive 4-1 victory over RB Leipzig before suffering a 3-2 defeat against Feyenoord.
